Dive deeper into own being
Only one tenth of our mind is conscious; nine tenth is in deep darkness - and that nine tenth is nine times more powerful. You have to change your unconscious slowly into consciousness. That's what meditation is all about; it is making your light grow bigger, slowly diving deeper into your own being. - Osho

Family makes child mediocre
Each child comes with a tremendous intelligence but the family makes him mediocre, because to live with an intelligent child is troublesome. He doubts, he is skeptical, he inquires, he is disobedient, he is rebellious - and the family wants somebody who is obedient, ready to follow, imitate.

True nature
Realize your true nature. That is all there is to do. Know yourself as you are—infinite spirit. That is practical religion. Everything else is impractical, for everything else will perish.
The greatest religion is to be true to your own nature. Have faith in yourselves! If you do not exist, how can God or anybody else exist? - Vivekanand

Consciousness, the staircase
Consciousness is the staircase: step by step you become more and more conscious. Whatsoever you do, you do it with full consciousness - even walking, eating, going to bed, talking, listening - small things of life. And when you are in love, you are in love with full consciousness. It is not against yourself; it is not that you are possessed; it is not that you are being pulled by somebody like a magnet. No, you are moving on your own. - Osho

Nothing is lost
Siddhartha continues to listen to the river. He hears the voices of his youth, of all the people he had cared about and lost. He hears the voice flow to the sea, sees the river water become vapor, rise up to the sky and fall again as rain and dew. He sees that no thing and no one is lost.

I had the blues
I had the blues because I had no shoes until upon the street, I met a man who had no feet. - Ancient Persian Saying

Water heats gradually
"Water heats gradually and boils suddenly"
We cannot force the natural course of events; everything happens in its 'right' time. The process is gradual, and hence may appear slow to us as we are often too impatient with expectations, but the change takes place within an instant.Similarly, awakening can not be forced, but may be encouraged; just like a seed which sprouts naturally when the right conditions prevail.

Do what you will
"Do what you will; but not because you must."
Often our habits shape our decisions and choices in life. What we fail to realize is that our habits link us to the past and prevent us from making the most of life's offerings within the present moment. But life is fresh in each moment and changes take place within the present moment. So, in order to experience the mystery and the magic of "now", we must break the habitual patterns of 'must's and 'must not's and live life as it comes.

Morality and meditation
The process of morality and meditation are opposite, diametrically opposite. In morality you go on putting more layers upon yourself, in meditation you start discarding layers. In meditation you discard, in morality you accumulate. In meditaion, you are just doing the same thing as when you peel an onion; it is a peeling. Layer by layer you go on throwing away untill nothing is left. - Osho
