Without preferences

"The WAY is not difficult for someone without preferences."

What makes the journey difficult is the intrinsic tendency of our duelist minds to classify things, events, people as good and bad, desired and undesired, pleasant and unpleasant, and so on. Classification leads to comparison, comparison leads to dissatisfaction and hence results in unhappiness...
When we completely accept "what IS" as a reflection of a perfect mechanism, we perceive the unity beyond all the dualities and hence preferences lose their meanings and their importance in our lives.

Knowing yourself

Knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is Enlightenment. - Lao Tzu

Harmony

If being in harmony with one person (mother, friend, wife....) gives us so much joy, so much happiness, what will be the outcome if we are in harmony with all the human beings. And if we can be in harmony with all the human beings, why can't we be in harmony with the animals, the bird and the trees. Love is the ladder - It starts with one person and ends with totality. - Osho

Stop Killing

Some of you kill animals in sacrifices
Some of you eat them with spices

One fine morn, you draw ropes and gun
You say, you want to kill them for fun

You rear animals and peel them for leather
You catch innocent birds for their feather

While you, the shooters, practice for aiming
You target the life that is flying

Just for some pleasure you make them victim
I think you don’t care about eco-system

But I’m not ready for any compromises
Please clean up your heart, no excuses

Don’t shrink their habitat, have mercy
Me say, let them live and move freely

Stop and discourage buying of animals
And support innocent in their fight for survival

Tell you again, me say, listen my friend
It’s endangered species that we must defend

Well, I’m here with the right motive
To protect wild life, as my objective

I know you give respect to what I say
“Don’t kill animals and birds”, I pray

So next time when you go out for safari

Remember the teaching of Bhandari.

Without anxious thought

"Without anxious thought, doing comes from being."
If the mind is full of irrelevant thoughts and anxieties, our natural decision-making process is slowed down and we become painfully aware of each step in the deliberation.
If we can still the mind through practices such as meditation, it frees up our mental powers to respond quickly and efficiently, so that we spontaneously know what we do.

Just be Present

Sand is slipping from the hand
Life is heading towards end
And we lie, we fear, we pretend
This way, we die every second

We only react but never understand
All the good, all the bad, we attend
All we need to do is just be present
And see the things the way they end
- Vaibhav
