This is nothing but human dominance over animals by slaughtering them. there should be some procedure to eradicate this discourse of inequality
Priti, this is the era where man is killing man. The root cause is lack of love - lack of love towards existence, lack of love for oneself.
On this i recall a quote of Mother Teresa - "The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion because if a mother can kill her own child, what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me? There is nothing between."
The solution lies in spiritual path, solution lies in going deeper within oneself, solution lies in meditation.
true . life cannot be graded as superior or inferior . Its human tendency to prove itself superior to other beings , so that it can get a free license to alter the life of others . hence the death & destruction.
In Jainism, it is called 'sam drushti'. That means see every one with equality.
All are equal in eyes of existence - whether living or non-living, man or women, man or animal, whatever caste, creed, community, region, gender, age.... the resources of existence are available for everyone. Existence keeps showering it's love on everyone with equality.
It's human brain which divides. It's a shamefull / stupid act by man, the so-called intelligent creature. Man has forgotten to love and respect life. Actually man has reached to such a point where he has forgotten to love himself. He lives in the false world ego.
