Follow your heart

Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living the result of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinion drowned your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. - Buddha

Following heart is a result of numb mind. Heart works on emotions and in the realistic life, emotions are not as important as logic and to live in practical life one needs to follow the logic

The AND, XOR, NOR and other gates of life work on Logic where the emotions do not play the part to make things turn around the way they should

I would follow my mind as the Logic gates are something that can be well decrypted by the mind and not the heart.

Mayank i would see this from a different perspective. Here when buddha says follow your heart then he is not dividing heart and mind like you has done in your comment. Here he means that one should not follow others, rather follow your own voice from inside. So, one is open to use all sorts of logics.

What buddha is saying here - build your logics; use your heart and mind; follow your soul. And don't use logics built by others; don't follow path discovered by others. Search your own path.

hmm cool Vaibhav, so I follow the path searched by my soul and do not follow what Buddha, Geeta, Ramayana Say??

Nopes it does not work like that. from what I infer out of you explanation I would say it means have your own Evaluation mechanism, but do not reinvent the wheel ;)

yes exactly.... one should not follow anybody, not even buddha....it's not reinvention of wheel.... the truth needs to found by every individual.... Budhha didn't follow anybody, Mahaveer never followed anybody, same with Christ, Mohamed, etc...

Only those who found their own way and have walked the path have reached the ultimate.
